So out of curiosity and interest, I did some research on the candy and I decided to explore "Pavilion" the very next day (because the sweet is only available in Pavilion and One Utama).
So, I've embarked on a "Candy search" as a way to end my last day in KL before new year.
The pictures below shall tell the story..
Pandan Jaya LRT station..
Arrived Hang Tuah station, Times Square spotted =]
Reached Pavilion after around 20 minutes of walking, here's the main gate~
Ah, this I need to mention. For your information, our pewter industry whether you are surprised or not, is actually quite famous, but many of us do not know, even as Malaysians, so sad.. so now, remember!!!
When enter the main gate, a lion head awaits you, hope it brings me better luck ^^
I only hoped for good health, because health is the fundamental to everything.
Pavilion is so big, and I juz simply set out not knowing where is that Sticky Candy shop > <"
However, after I forgot how long, I found it! Heh ;)
Below are some pictures I took of the shop, quite interesting and I like it very much~
It reminds me of my childhood =)
The worker seeing me taking pictures, kindly cooperated and showed me a bundle of... umm.... sugar?
The process of packaging.. Yummy~
Samples~~ Quite unique..
After that, I had my lunch at "Ichiban Ramen", they should consider me a VIP, coz I'm a loyal customer to "Ichiban Ramen". I've tried numerous branches of theirs and I think Pavilion's serves the best =]
Chicken Katsu Ramen~~
Burp!! =P
And then I went to DC Comics shop, surprised to see it in Pavilion!
Superman~ Very nice art eh?
And this is Batman, my favourite DC hero, because he doesn't have any super powers, so instead, he uses his mind intelligence and martial arts skill to encounter his enemies. And he talks less, very calm and steady, rich, handsome and etc...
I went to look at antiques later, they are a lot I wish to buy. This is Bodhi Dharma's sculpture. He is known as the transmitter of Zen. How beautifully sculptured.. I was so moved by its craftmanship.. What a marvelous piece of art!! I've only managed to take one picture illegally before they stopped me as it is forbidden to take pictures of the antiques =(
I guess I'll be collecting a lot of these in the future~
I also went to Bossini and bought 2 new shirts to celebrate the CNY at the discounted price of RM59 =')
I was soon weary after a few hours of shopping in Pavilion, so I walk myself to Royale Bintang hotel to take a rest. I suddenly miss my father coz without him, I don't have a place to rest, I only get to sit in the Lobby =(
My father is a great man, thanks for giving me such a wonderful life that I can only dream of if I am without you.
After enough rest, I walked myself to Sushi Zanmai to use the RM20 voucher before it expires.
Tada, my favourite Unagi Rice~ And this is Unatama Don (L)
Yummy eh? The price is even sweeter~
After another lonely dinner, the loner has decided to go home, and that's the end of his story.
Conclusion:
I have spent nearly RM 200 just shopping in Pavilion... My God... Now I'm only left with a few bucks.. There goes my hard earn money.. I guess I'll be eating grass like a cow for the few days = ="
That's what happens when a poor man spends ='(
Anyway, had a great day shopping in Pavilion, this was the first time I shop like a woman, walking around and trying clothes. Well, but I guess its okay to spend so much once in 22 years~
